Minority contractors are invited to city workshop Monday, February 27th. The workshop will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the McDonald Hughes Center located at 3101 Martin Luther King Boulevard.
After the devastating tornadoes of April 2011, the City of Tuscaloosa says it is committed to rebuilding the city by creating partnerships with minority contractors in the Tuscaloosa area. Minority contractors and owners of construction-related businesses are invited to attend the workshop to become familiar with the qualification process and learn about the city of Tuscaloosa's tornado reconstruction projects.
This workshop has been developed to provide information to minority contractors to assist them in participating in the bid process. For more information, contact Robert Amason at (205) 345-9626.
