With eclectic offerings, allowing children a chance to learn about everything from bugs to cooking, and from painting to plants, Birmingham Botanical Gardens, again, will offer summer camps for children.
Children's Summer Camps offer something for everyone. The series begins May 29 – June 1 with "Painting in The Gardens" and "Let's Get Growing," and continues June 4 – 8 with "Flower Fairies," "Garden Adventures with American Girl" and "Monet's Garden." All classes during the first two weeks will be 9 – 1 p.m. June 11 – 15 will offer afternoon camps, with "Art in the Afternoon: Paper Art" and "Explore The Gardens with Winnie the Pooh" taking place 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Morning camps return for the remainder of summer, starting with "It's a Buggy World" and "Wild Wings and Creeping Things" on June 18 – 25. On June 25 – 29, there will be two "Young Builders: Legos in the Landscape" sessions offered, as well as "Paper Art."
