Drivers in Hoover got a little more than they bargained for during their lunch break Monday. A man led police on a chase that ended with an accident at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 150 in Hoover and sent three people to local hospitals.
What happened right after the accident may have caused even more on-looker delays than normal.
When police approached the suspects vehicle they discovered the 57 year old Hoover man was completely naked. As soon as it was clear that the scene was secure and the suspect handcuffed, police used a blanket to cover him.
Charges in the case have not been filed, but are pending.
None of the victims suffered life threatening injuries.
