If you have been keeping track of gasoline prices, you know there's nothing to smile about!

The average price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped nearly 12 cents over the past three weeks.

The national average is at $3.51 a gallon.  In Alabama, it's slightly lower at $3.44.  In Birmingham, you can find it three cents cheaper at $3.41 a gallon.
