The National Weather Service will be teaching a basic storm spotter class in Rainbow City at the Rainbow City Community Center on Thursday. It will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The center is located at 3702 Rainbow Drive.
The basic storm spotter class teaches individuals how to identify specific severe weather patterns before, during, and after an event. The public and first responders are encouraged to attend this class. There is no cost to attend. For more information, please contact the Gadsden/Etowah Emergency Management Agency at 549-4575.
