TUSCALOOSA - AL -

University of Alabama head basketball coach Anthony Grant says three more players have been suspended from the team. Senior forward JaMychal Green, junior guard Andrew Steele, and sophomore point guard Trevor Releford were suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

"We are extremely disappointed in the choices and decisions made by these young men that has led to this suspension," Coach Grant said in a statement Saturday afternoon. "Talent is a gift, but character is a choice. The consequences of their choices have negatively impacted them as individuals and the people that love and support them. Our hope is that they will be mature enough to accept responsibility for their actions and place a higher value on their character."

Junior forward Tony Mitchell was suspended Monday indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.

Alabama plays LSU tonight at 6 p.m.
