Third suspect arrested in Ensley slayings

(ABC 33/40)  The Birmingham Police Department reports that detectives have arrested and charged a third suspect in connection with the deaths of five people in Ensley. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at approximately 3:30 a.m. at 3113 Avenue S.   

The third suspect has been identified as:

Reginald Mims, 16, of Bessemer, Alabama. Five Capital Murder warrants with no bond have been obtained against the suspect. A Robbery 1st degree warrant with a $250,000.00 bond on an unrelated case has been obtained against the suspect.

17 year old Rashad Stoves and 16 year old Artavius Underwood, both of Birmingham were arrested earlier this week and also charged in the murders.

The suspects are being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
