Losing weight can be hard work.
And keeping the pounds off can be even more difficult.
But, USA Today reports the National Weight Control Registry has found a few secrets to successfully keeping the weight off.
The organization is made of about 10,000 people who have lost 30 or more pounds and kept it off for at least a year.
USAToday reports the registry looked at 3,000 participants who shed an average of 69 pounds and kept most of it off.
The registry found these people were more likely to count calories or carbs, eat breakfast regularly, and limit eating at restaurants.
