Former Sooner Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers jump on the Thunder from the opening tip and hold on to beat Oklahoma City, 112-100. The Thunder pull within 11 points of the Clippers late in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get any closer.
All five Clippers starters score in double figures led by Chris Paul with 26. CP3 also had 14 assists. Griffin and Caron Butler both added 22 points.
Los Angeles was 13-25 from behind the three point line and shot 56 percent from the field. Oklahoma City made just nine three point shots and shoot 48 percent from the field.
Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder who had another double double. He finished with 36 points and 13 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had 31 points. KD & Westbrook combined for 67 of the Thunder's 100 points.
Oklahoma City travels to Dallas for a game against the Mavericks on Wednesday. They return home Friday to face the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:00pm.
