A win over second-ranked Missouri should be enough to get people talking about Oklahoma State. But, what people around the country are talking about is an incredible play in the game from the Cowboys' Markel Brown.
The sophomore guard had quite possibly the biggest dunk in college basketball this season, taking an alley oop pass from Keiton Page and one-hand-tomahawking it over Missouri's Matt Pressey.
Unfortunately for Brown, it would be his last big moment. The officials called Markel for his second technical foul of the night because he stared down Pressey following the jam. He'd finish the night with eight points.
Prior to the huge play, Oklahoma State trailed the Tigers 56-51. But, the Cowboys would outscore Missouri 28-to-16 from that point on, stunning the Tigers, who had climbed to their highest ranking in a decade.
OSU Freshman LeBryan Nash shined, scoring 27 points on 12-of-18 shooting. Brian Williams added 22 and Page scored a dozen.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Cowboys, who evened their overall record at 10-and-10. The Pokes are 3-and-4 in Big 12 play, heading into a road contest at Texas A&M Saturday at 2 p.m.
