Morrison Shines As ORU Beats IPFW

Posted: Updated:

For the 10th straight game, the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles left the court with a win.  This time, it was a 65-54 win over the Mastadons of IPFW.

Once again, Dominique Morrison lead the way for ORU, scoring 27 points.  He was 8 of 15 from the field, including 3 of 7 from three-point range.

Michael Craion also reached double-figures, scoring 10.

It wasn't an easy win for the Golden Eagles, as the Mastadons jumped out to a lead that swelled to as many as 10 points in the first half.  But ORU would respond, taking a two point lead into halftime before running away from IPFW in the second half.

Up next for Oral Roberts is a home game against Oakland.  Tipoff Saturday night is set for 7:05 PM.
