    The Consumer Electronics Show is over, and there were some big trends on the show floor.

    Some of the big trends included tablet computers.  Many were from smaller companies hopping into the Android market.  Accessories and software for tablets were also at every turn.  Lots of the software for tablets- Android and iPad alike- seemed geared toward home automation and merging in-car technology with mobile devices.

     Keeping your technology safe was also a hot item, with lots of devices and software for data protection.

    3D technology continues to be huge, even thought he public isn't really picking up on it in the numbers anticipated by some manufacturers.
