Who's most at risk of suicide?

The elderly, white men over age 65, Native Americans and Veterans; However, no group is immune to it.

A listing for young people wasn't on the list.  But experts suggest, parents pay close attention to their children if a child has had a recent loss, defeat or humiliation, such as bullying.

People can get help, by calling the National Suicide Hotline at 1 800 273-TALK,

or call the crisis center at 323-7777, or go to the ER immediately, and state clearly,

I'm thinking suicidal.. and ask for help.

Dr. Judith Harrington leads a free support group called Survivors of Suicide Bereavement.

Meetings are every 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Crisis Center in Birmingham at 7:00-8:30p.m.
