New study ranks charter school states

The idea of charter schools is expected to be introduced during the Alabama legislative session next month. Governor Robert Bentley is interested.

Alabama is one of only nine states that does not allow charter schools. A report by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools came out Tuesday. Click here to read the full report.  It ranks the nations 42 state charter school laws.  This year, Maine ranks first and Mississippi comes in last.
