The Oklahoma Sooners will be looking to stop a two-game losing streak when they travel to Stillwater tonight to face Bedlam rival Oklahoma State.
The Sooners (10-4 overall, 0-2 Big 12 Conference) got a tough start to conference play last week, having to play at sixth-ranked Missouri and hosting 15th-ranked Kansas, both lopsided defeats.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma State (8-7, 1-1) won its opener against lowly Texas Tech before playing well against Texas but ultimately falling in the second half.
The Sooners come in playing much better than many had anticipated, but after a 9-1 start, the Sooners have fallen back to earth, losing three of four. Oklahoma is led by Steven Pledger, who is averaging a team-high 17.8 points per game.
Transfer Romero Osby has also been a bright spot, averaging 10.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per contest and Andrew Fitzgerald is also posting double digits, putting up 12.6 points per contest.
Oklahoma State limps into tonight's game, having already lost Jean-Paul Olukemi to a season-ending knee injury and Reger Dowell to transfer. The starting line-up will feature only one senior -- Keiton Page -- one junior and three freshmen.
OU leads the all-time series 127-93, but OSU has won four of the last six and are 60-42 against the Sooners in Stillwater. The teams split the Bedlam series last year.
Tonight's game will tip-off at 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPNU.
