Many pre-schoolers aren't spending enough time playing outdoors.
That's coming from a new study published in the Pediatrics journal.
Researchers say -- in an eight-hour day... children at day-care only spend two-to-three-percent of their time engaged in vigorous-play -- like running and skipping.
Pediatric experts say.... pre-schoolers should get anywhere from an hour-and-a-half to two-hours of that kind-of-play every day.
They also say kids should be taken outside twice a day.
