Winningest OSU Senior Class Looks To Go Out With Another 'W'

Glendale, AZ -

The winningest senior class in the history of Oklahoma State takes the field for the final time tonight -- looking for yet another first.

A win over fourth-ranked Stanford would give the Cowboys (11-1) their 12th victory of the season, which would eclipse last year's record mark of eleven wins.

And, they can say they were the first Oklahoma State team to win an outright Big 12 championship and advance to a BCS Bowl.

It could also mean a finish of second in the final rankings for OSU -- the highest final rank in team history, topping the fifth place finish in the AP for the 1945 team and fifth place finish in the coaches poll for the 1984 team.

Over the past four seasons, no player has played in more games for the Cowboys than senior defensive end Jamie Blatnick.

Blatnick has played in 50 of OSU's 51 games since the start of the 2008 season and with one sack tonight, would finish among the top ten at Oklahoma State in quarterback takedowns.

Also ending a four-year career at OSU are James Thomas (49 games), Wilson Youman (48 games), Markelle Martin (47 games), Richetti Jones (47 games), Josh Cooper (45 games) and Hubert Anyiam (42 games).

They've seen the Cowboys win 40 games in four seasons -- only seven other teams (Boise State, Alabama, TCU, Oregon, Virginia Tech LSU and Oklahoma) can say they've won more over that span.
