From Jefferson County Sheriff Mike Hale:
"Last year, your calls led to dozens of arrests. And we hope to build on that success in the new year.
If you know where we can find any of this week's suspects, please give Crime Stoppers an anonymous call.
First, is 28-year-old Antrenella Burts. She's wanted for failure to appear on an attempted murder charge. She also faces a burglary charge. She could be around McDonald Chapel. Her last known address is along the 500-block of Utica Place.
Next, is 54-year-old Michael Robert Jones. He's charged with sodomy first degree of a victim less than 12. Jones' last known address is along the 600-block of Weems Road between Argo and Springville.
We also need to find 27-year-old James Halbrook. He's wanted for probation revocation on a robbery charge. You might see him around Avondale. His last known address is along the 3700-block of 6th Avenue South in Birmingham.
If you've seen them, call Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777. And remember, it could mean justice for them and a cash reward for you.
Finally, we want to wish you a happy New Year. We'll be here if you need us.
With Crime Stoppers Most Wanted, I'm Sheriff Mike Hale."
In addition to telephone tips, encrypted tips can be submitted online by going to www.birminghamcrimestoppers.org and clicking on the "submit an online tip" link. Also, you can text 7777, along with your tip, to the word CRIMES.
If you provide information to Crime Stoppers, detectives will never ask for your name, and they will never see your phone number. Instead, you will be assigned a private code number. If your tip is the first to lead to an arrest, you then use the code number to claim a cash reward.
Crime Stoppers cannot call its tipsters to testify in court.
