Suspect: Javon Latrese Robertson Suspect: Javon Latrese Robertson

From Jefferson County Sheriff Mike Hale:

"Even on Christmas, our deputies are on patrol, working to make our neighborhoods safer.  And even on Christmas, Crime Stoppers is ready to take your call on any felony case.

This week, we especially need to find these suspects:

First, is 22-year-old Stephen Matthew Epperson.  He's wanted for distribution of a controlled substance.  He may be around the Bluff Park area.  His last known address is along the 2200-block of Capri Drive in Hoover.

We also need to find 33-year-old Javon Latrese Robertson.  She's wanted on a robbery charge, and we think she might be in the Ensley area.  Her last known address is along the 1500-block of 21st Street Ensley.

If you've seen them, call Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.  And remember, it could mean justice for them and a cash reward for you.

Finally, we hope you've had a merry Christmas, and we wish you a Happy New Year.

With Crime Stoppers Most Wanted, I'm Sheriff Mike Hale."

In addition to telephone tips, encrypted tips can be submitted online by going to www.birminghamcrimestoppers.org and clicking on the "submit an online tip" link.  Also, you can text 7777, along with your tip, to the word CRIMES.

If you provide information to Crime Stoppers, detectives will never ask for your name, and they will never see your phone number.  Instead, you will be assigned a private code number.  If your tip is the first to lead to an arrest, you then use the code number to claim a cash reward.

Crime Stoppers cannot call its tipsters to testify in court.

Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama is a partnership between local law enforcement, the Birmingham Business Alliance and ABC 33/40.  Together, our goal is to make our community a safer place to live and work.
