Stay against JeffCo sewer receiver extended again

For the second time, a federal bankruptcy judge has extended the stay against sewer receiver John Young.

Young is not currently in control of the sewer system and must continue to step aside through midnight January 6th. This means he cannot change sewer rates.

In the meantime, Environmental Services director David Denard will continue to manage the system until that date or until another order comes down.
