Doug Wojcik and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane were hoping for a big win Monday night over 21st-ranked Creighton.  But Blue Jays sophomore Doug McDermott had a career night.  He scored a career-high 35 points and Creighton buried Tulsa 83-64.

AFter beating Texas-Arlington on Saturday in overtime, the Golden Hurricane continue to struggle.  TU has lost seven of their last nine.

TU took the lead with 11:13 left in the first half 20-19, but that was their final lead of the game. The Golden Hurricane were led by Jordan Clarkson with 14 points.

Tulsa next faces Mercer December 28th at 8:30pm at the Reynolds Center.
