Sitting around waiting for the cable technician to show up isn't just a waste of your time it's also a huge waste of money.
A new IBOPE Zogby poll shows waiting for in-home services and appointments cost American workers a whopping $37.7 billion this year. More than half of those polled said they waited an average of four and a half hours for their appointment to show up.
The poll shows cable techs kept customers waiting the most... but Internet technicians and furniture delivery people also made the list.
