A reminder to slow down

   The world seems to be moving faster, and so does the traffic.

 Homewood is adding new stop signs to remind drivers to slow down.

The City of Homewood is hopeful some new stop signs will stop speeding in one neighborhood.

City Council approved installing two stop signs on Cobb Street at Kent Lane Monday night.

The move comes after residents complained.

Right now, there's no time table on when the speed barriers will be installed.

But if you are in the area... be forewarned there may be a new stop sign you didn't expect to see.
