Drillers Lose To Springfield - ABC 33/40 - Birmingham News, Weather, Sports

The Tulsa Drillers get shut out at home Friday night 3-0 by the Springfield Cardinals.  Tulsa was one back of Northwest Arkansas for the lead in the North Division when the day started.  But the Naturals stretch their lead to two games with their 5-2 win over the Arkansas Travelers.

The Drillers will host the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in their final three games of the season.  Tulsa has to sweep the series to win the second half title.  Tulsa is coming off a series sweep of the Naturals earlier this week.

The Drillers and Naturals begin their three game series Saturday night at 7:05.
