I don't like to say I told you so... But tonight I have to say I told you so.
Now experts are saying mammograms save lives after all!
It is recommended that women get regular mammograms once again.
Komen for a Cure and the American Cancer Society continued to recommend regular mammograms for women...
New findings reverse a theory that is now seen as flawed.
IN 2009..... For the first time in 20 years, a government panel told women in their 40s to stop getting routine mammograms and recommended that a host of other breast cancer screenings slow down.
The recommendation which contradicts the American Cancer Society, pitted doctors, women, insurers and radiology groups in a fierce debate about who should get a mammogram and when.
Again get checked and get regular mammograms. Early detection is the key to survival.
