If you want to get a little exercise this Saturday.... lace up your shoes and join me at the Birmingham Police Departments Annual 5k Pig Run.
Even though it's hot, there is nothing better than a cool morning run in June.
It's for a great cause... all proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics of Alabama.
Pre-Registration is $20 and registration the day of the run is $25.
Show up at 7 A.M. to check-in and register onsite.
The race takes off at 8:00 A.M.
The awards presentation is at 9:45.
It all starts at 8th Avenue North and 20th Street in Linn Park .
Race Features: Certified 5K course that is "FAST and FLAT" in downtown Birmingham.
