The Salvation Army says it's running out of items crucial to recovery for storm survivors. The agency says it needs your help to continue to serve those affected by the April 27th tornadoes. Tables are looking bare at the warehouse.

They need items like:

• Cleaning supplies like disinfectant spray
• Undergarments of all sizes
• Hygiene products like shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, feminine products, deodorant

"Depends for seniors," says Public Relations Director Brian Wallace. "You don't think about that a lot. That's not a very big pile. When they end up coming through here, it's gonna be gone. Denture cream things like that. There were a lot of seniors affected in this."

There is a critical need for:

• Non-perishable foods like canned meats, pasta and dry cereal
• Over-the-counter medications
• Pet products like food
• NEW Bedding, pillows, towels

You can drop your items off at the Salvation Army warehouse at 350 Industrial Drive in Birmingham.
