Cheddar Cheese Fondue
In a small double boiler or fondue pot add 4 ounces of lager beer (milk may be substituted),1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 3 to 4 dashes of dry mustard powder.
Add 1 to 2 ounces of slightly floured, shredded Cheddar Cheese.
Mix together thoroughly using a small table fork or fine wire whisk until the cheese begins to melt.
Continue to add small quantities of cheese to bring the cheese to the consistency of warm honey.
Finally, fold in 4 to 5 turns of freshly ground black pepper and 3 to 4 shakes of Worcestershire sauce.
Remove mixing fork and serve with fresh bread cubes, vegetables, and apples.
