Have you considered head and neck cancer screenings?  This is recommended for people who have a family history of face, neck, or throat cancer.   The criteria for screening  is a hoarseness for 2 weeks or longer,  persistent sore throat for 3 weeks or longer, an ulcer on the face or in the mouth that will not heal.  Also a lump on the face or neck.  Another is coughing or spitting up blood.  You should consider a screening if you have a history of heavy alcohol or heavy tobacco use.   Remember early detection is the key to survival.  Don't hesitate to get a screening if you have any reason for concern!  Remember together we can conquer cancer.
