Lincoln, AL - Workers at Honda of Alabama sorted toys by the truckload on Wednesday. In just two weeks Honda associates at the Lincoln plant have raised more than ten large crates filled with toys, dolls, games and food items to be distributed to non-profit agencies in a five-county area. On Wednesday they separated the items for distribution.
Associate James Woody says, "I think it's very important because of the economic times that we have going on today and a lot of unemployment and a lot of people out of work and so forth. I'm really very proud of it.
Non-profit groups in Talladega, Calhoun, Etowah, St. Clair and Jefferson county will receive the donations.
