Trussville & Highway 269 - Detectives hope you can help them identify, or locate, suspects in two new cases.  One case, involving three suspects, focuses on recent car burglaries in Trussville.  The other case is an armed robbery at a gas station along Highway 269 near McDonald Chapel and Ensley.

Trussville Car Break-Ins:  Three people were seen shopping at a local Wal-Mart, only minutes after some cars were broken into in Trussville.  The suspects, seen in the video attached to this article, are two men and one woman.

Surveillance cameras captured some of the clearest images Crime Stoppers has seen.  All Crime Stoppers needs now is a call from anyone who can tell detectives who the suspects are, or where they might be found.

Highway 269 Robbery:  This case is a little more challenging, but detectives believe anyone who knows the robbery suspect will be able to recognize his profile from the attached surveillance video.  The robbery took place at the Pit Stop gas station along Highway 269, near the turnoff to McDonald Chapel.

The suspect covered most of his face with a hooded sweatshirt and ballcap.  But he gave us a great clue.  His voice was actually recorded by the store's surveillance system.

If you look at the video and listen to his voice, you just might be able to provide the tip detectives need... And that tip could turn into a cash reward for you.

Anyone who can help in either case is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777 immediately.  Callers are never asked for their names and will be given code numbers to remain anonymous.  The caller qualifies for the reward if his or her tip is the first tip that leads to an arrest.

Also, encrypted tips can be submitted online by logging onto www.birminghamcrimestoppers.org and clicking on the "submit an online tip" link.

Crime Stoppers is a partnership between local law enforcement, the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and ABC 33/40.  Together, our goal is to make our community a safer place to live and work.
