Jefferson County - Three men are behind bars after Jefferson County Officials say they robbed a local pharmacy and led officers on a high speed chase.

21 year-old Phillip Hampton, 26 year-old Travis Smith and 22 year-old Shane Moore are all charged with 1st degree robbery. All three men are from Ashland, Tennessee. The robbery happened around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at Tyner's Pharmacy in Chalkville. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says the suspects stole pain killers and then one of them fired a shot into the pharmacy's floor before fleeing the scene. With the help of half a dozen police departments, Jefferson County deputies chased the suspects to Morris where they were arrested.

According to a nearby restaurant owner, there were 5 to 6 employees inside the pharmacy at the time of the robbery, including the pharmacy's owner. The store has since reopened.

Tyner was a pharmacist in East Lake for years ..... left that part of town when it went to thugs and trash, now he's being subject to the same crap in this location.  At least they were transplant trash and not local, that makes it not seem as hopeless.  Good job on catching them.

So, Go TakeOTD, who do you want to blame for this? The owner of the store, the people of the city of Chalkville, the lazy deputies of the county law enforcement?  Come on, you can find something truly stupid to say in order to redeem yourself on this one........
