Local WWII Vets Take Flight to Remember

A group of vets boarded bombers once again, but this time landed in Shelby County. They drove up to Athens, Tennessee Friday morning, then flew back home aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress or a B-24 Liberator.
The flight is called "The Wings of Freedom Tour."
Regency Retirement Community of Alabama arranged the event to honor those who have served our country.
