Weaver, AL -
On Tuesday night Weaver city council will decide vote on a controversial road widening project. Half a million dollars in federal money has been paid for the expansion running between Jacksonville and Anniston. The council may cancel the project and ask for debt forgiveness. It's an effort to keep property owners from losing land.
But some residents say the narrow road is very dangerous when passing trucks.
A public hearing begins at six followed by a council vote.
