Tuscaloosa To Make The 'Big Screen'
West Alabama will soon make the 'Big Screen'. Production crews for Warner Brothers spent the day in Tuscaloosa shooting scenes throughout the county for the movie 'Due Date' starring Robert Downey, Jr. Scenes were shot in Northport, Tuscaloosa and an open field with I-59 in the backdrop near Fosters. The movie is about two men who get lost while on a road trip from Atlanta to Dallas, Texas. Robert Downey, Jr. was not in Tuscaloosa. A double was used. No word yet on when 'Due Date' is due in theatres.
