Some of the people at most risk from severe swine flu complications are advised not to take any doses of the first vaccine shipment.

That's because the first swine flu vaccine doses will be the nasal spray version called Flu mist.

It's made of a live but weakened flu strain.

Health officials at The Centers for Disease Control say it's approved for healthy people ages 2 to 49.

But the swine flu nasal spray vaccine is not recommended for some people including pregnant women, children younger than 2, and people with asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases.

The CDC (web | news) expects about 3.4 million doses of nasal spray vaccine by the first week of October.
