A Spanish hotline is being set up, and authorities are calling a news conference regarding the deaths of five Hispanic men found in an apartment Shelby County.
Captain Ken Burchfield of the Shelby County Sheriff's Office told ABC 33/40 Friday morning that his office is working to ensure someone who speaks Spanish will be able to take tips on information connected to the killings. A phone line already set up, (205) 669-9116, will take tips anonymously. A separate tip line, 1(877)298-3220, has been established that will be answered in Spanish twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week.
Authorities searched a home along Valleydale Road and hauled away two pickup trucks from the location Thursday night. Officers also took pictures and apparently gathered evidence inside the home. There was no immediate word of any arrests.
The Sheriff’s Office can now report that this is a homicide investigation and preliminary autopsy results from the Alabama Department of Forensic Science on four of the victims indicate that they all suffered a laceration to the throat. Preliminary autopsy results on the fifth victim and toxicology reports for all five victims are pending. An adhesive was present on the victims and the source of the adhesive is yet to be determined.

Ezequiel Rebollar-Perrban, 23 years of age
Jaime Echeverria, 30 years of age
Armando Lopez, 20-30 years of age
