Birmingham - Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford says he is upset with the city attorney's office because of a contract related to the dome.
The mayor fired attorney Lawrence Cooper from that staff on Tuesday.
He says the office had given councils a "draft" contract for work on the domed stadium, instead of the "actual" contract.
"The city attorneys had those contracts in February," the mayor said. "He was told specifically two weeks ago and as late as this past Friday, don't you mess with this thing. Make sure all of your T's are crossed and the I's dotted. He didn't do his job."
