Tuscaloosa - Police in Tuscaloosa say a man stabbed his wife to death, then turned himself into state troopers.
30-year-old Tyrone Hicks is now charged with the murder of 28-year-old Shanta Hicks.
The couple had been married for 12 years. Investigators say Thursday night one of their four children heard his mother's cry for help and ran next door. Police say Hicks stabbed his wife multiple times, threatened others, then left the house.
Shanta Hicks' co-workers say there were no warning signs before the killing.
Tyrone Hicks is now in the Tuscaloosa County Jail charged with murder and menacing.
