18 month old Treshoun Williams has been found and reunited with his mother in Bessemer. The reunion occured just after midnight Sunday morning. Lakendra Miller got a call from a friend telling her to get to Bessemer as soon as possible because her son had been found. The boy was found in a housing community in Bessemer.
Residents of the housing community tell police the suspect 17 year old Antoinetta Smith had taken Treshoun to an old classmates home early Saturday morning. They also say she told them the boy was her son and that she was taking him to a birthday party later that day. Erica Jones speaking exclusively to ABC 3340's Cyrondys Jackson says Smith had been at the housing community all day. Jones says she realized this was the missing child and called police.
Smith apparently left the 18 month old at the housing community and got into the car of an unidentified male and took off. She was arrested a few blocks away.
