Sheriff's deputies responded to a call around 4:40 am on May 25 where a resident reported arriving home to find a 30 year old Pinson man on his deck with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Residents of the Mobile home community where the victim was found (Mimosa Trailer Park) reported hearing what sounded like gunshots around 2 am. Thirty year old Timothy Wayne Terrell was pronounced dead at the scene and suffered what appeared at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Sheriff's Detectives have charged a suspect with Murder in this homicide investigation. Enrique Vera, age 33, lived in the mobile home park where the victim was killed. Investigators believe Vera shot the victim over money he claimed the victim owed him. It is believed that the suspect fled the State of Alabama after the shooting. Vera is at large and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 325-1450.
