Many people have accidentally deleted all their digital pictures. If you do, don't panic. The pictures may still be there.
Your camera uses indexing information to find the actual picture files. By hitting 'delete all', you're simply un-associating the index information with the pictures. You're not actually deleting the shots. They're only wiped out if you take more pictures, or format your memory card. That means the best thing to do is immediately remove your memory card from your camera so you can't write more data onto it.
Then, simply plug your card into your computer using a card reader- or if you're careful, a USB connection to the camera. Then, you can use data recovery software to get your pictures back. Many of the programs recognize files the Windows operating system can't even see.
If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, you can send your card off to a data recovery company. These services can be expensive- but most will only charge you if they can get your pictures back.
