Police have identified two suspects who are accused of trying to shoplift from the Gardendale Wal-Mart Monday. One of the suspects pulled a knife on store employees, according to detectives.
The men are identified as Jason Matthew Owens, who is seen in surveillance video wearing a blue cap. The other suspect is identified as Kevin Michael Owens, seen in the camoflage hat.
The men are believed to be from Cullman County. While authorities now know the suspects' names, they have NOT yet tracked them down.

The men could be driving a green Mazda 626.
Something I noticed while I was in the UK recently. The crime reports in the news media go into GREAT detail to disclose race, gender, etc. of anyone being sought after by authorities. I think that's a great policy and we should adapt it here in this country too. I'm tired of being afraid of who might get offended or start a march if I mention race.
A criminal is a criminal and people need to know EVERYTHING about that criminal so people can work together with the cops and bring the scum to justice.
