Some people might fear a motorcycle gang, showing up at their front door. But for one local lady, that motorcycle gang turned out to be just the help she needed during a tough time.
Randy Campbell is a tall strong man, who wear a leather motorcycle vest. It's donned with patches that declare Jesus is Lord. At first glance he looks like a rough and tough rider. But in reality, he's a comforting presence to people like Jean Williams. Our cameras caught him comforting this woman , small in stature, who just found out she has breast cancer and sustained major damage to her home during a recent storm.
Randy Campbell patted Jean's arm and said, "That's what makes the Lord a merciful God."
Randy showed up at Jean Williams door after hearing that storm damage ripped through her home. He and his friends wanted to help.
Jean Williams says the storm hit while she was watching ABC 33/40. She got into a closet with her six grandchildren for safety. The winds and debris pounded her home. It's an added blow at about the same time she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. But then she says God sent her help.
Randy heard about her plight with the damage and battling cancer and decided to help. He and friends repaired the home. It brought great relief for Jean since now she has to figure out her fight with cancer.... with this new diagnosis. She gives all the glory to God and these members of the Calvary Motorcycle Ministries.
