Northport, AL -     350 Army Reservists based in Hamilton, Fayette and Northport received warm well-wishes from their respective communities today.  Northport Church of Christ held a deployment ceremony for the 877th Engineer Batallion - Forward Support Company.  Although the soldiers are not scheduled to the leave until early Wednesday morning, the ceremony was a tearful departure.  The reservists are leaving family and friends behind for the year long tour.  For many, it's their second or third...But, for some their first.  Spc. Taquawn Gray says, "We all get along and they've (my family) have been really helping me since this is my first deployment. Many are more relaxed this time with a new comma nder making the calls in Aghaistan.  They say, "new commander, new strategy...there will be a big difference."
