Two People Dead after Crashes in East Alabama

The first was in Etowah County about 3:30pm. 33-year-old Daphne Cheryl Brooks died in a one car crash on Interstate 56 near Reece City. The 15-year-old driver was injured and taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham after the crash near the 187 mile-marker.
The driver of a motorcycle was killed in Talladega County before 4:30pm on Saturday.
State troopers say 30-year-old Tamarcus Bruno from Alpine died after a crash with a Ford F-350 pickup truck on Burney Station Road near Talladega.
