Robbery Causes School Lock Down

Sheriff's Deputies responded to an armed robbery this morning outside of the Regions Bank in the 2300 block of Center Point Road.
A black male suspect armed with a handgun robbed a customer that was on the way into the bank to make a deposit. The
suspect fled in a gold colored vehicle driven by a second black male.
The vehicle fled in the direction of Erwin High School and the school was put on lock down for a short period of time while the area was searched. The robbery suspects have not been located.
