The Birmingham Police Department reports that a male suspect has been identified in connection with the attempted murder of a 45-year-old male victim, which occurred on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at approximately 9:00 p.m. at 1755 33rd Street North.

The suspect has been identified as 19 year old Freddrious Lamar Nelson of Birmingham, Alabama.  A Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling warrant, under a $30,000.00 bond and an Attempted Murder warrant under a $60,000.00 bond, have been obtained against this suspect.

The suspect is STILL AT LARGE and should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
