Police in two Alabama cities are seeking answers after two male bodies were found floating in creeks over the weekend.
The Morgan County Rescue Squad retrieved the body of an unidentified man from Flint Creek in Decatur on Sunday. And the sheriff's department in Jefferson County is investigating the death of a male who was found floating in Valley Creek near Birmingham on Sunday.
Jefferson County officials say the body was that of a person who was about 5-foot-2 and weighed between 140 and 150 pounds. He appeared to have been dead awhile.
Investigators are trying to determine if the man found in Morgan County might have been camping under a nearby bridge at the time of his death. Kayakers found the body.
