An East Alabama football booster club is under investigation.
Last fall while the Saks High School Wildcats made their way to the play offs, one booster club member may have been spending money meant for the team.
He's no longer a member of the organization but the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department is looking into accusations regarding how he may have spent money meant for the team.
The accusations claim the club member borrowed cash from the booster fund for his personal use, then paid the money back.
It's hard for Sheriff Larry Amerson to tell exactly what happened.
According to the Sheriff receipts are missing.and financial decisions were made outside of official group meetings.
The Sheriff's Department handed over their findings to the Calhoun County District Attorney.
The D.A. will decide if criminal charges will be filed.
